Department of HISTORY

Introduction::

History Department is the undergraduate level (B.A.). The department always aims to provide quality education to disadvantaged rural students in Hingoilarea .Department is one of the most sought-after subjects, many students are attracting to this subject. As students are constantly connected to the subject, the department has also successfully catered to the educational needs of students. The department is involved in organizing student group discussions and seminars, tours and also provides counseling facilities for competitive examinations.In this department more than 350 students are enrolled in graduate every year.

History::

The Department was established in the year 1967, very first year of establishment of our college. Mr. M MMardikarwas the first person of the Department and took charge of Head of the Department,and Mr. Chondekar was a second man of Department. Mr. M MMardikar was retirement in 2004 Mr. Chondekar charge of HOD in DepartmentMr. Chondekar was retirement in 2005 At present Dr.R R Pimpalpalle is onlya working permanent faculty in the Department. Dr.R RPimpalpalle is appointed as an Assistant Professor by the institute in the year 2006. He took the charge of Head of the Department in the year 2009 and working till date. Before the year 2006 there was no confirmed faculty at the Department, as such the Department were being run with the help of professor appointed on C.H.B.

Objectives::

• To develop the understanding of basic concept in subject.
• To enable the students to understand various aspect of History.
• To provide a general understanding of the functioning of the History value of life .
• To prepare the student for employment in various fields job.
